A BEAUTIFUL MIND : ANNA
My mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2019. One year later my father and her husband of 61 years passed away in a long term care home. Today, she herself is newly situated in the same long term care home. She is happy and safe and that is a blessing. Here are some images I took during my last visit home. Old photographs and personal items fill to the brim the inside of the family home. The outside gardens left to grow wild and free are littered with remnants of plastics in decay like a graveyard of things that once held life and promise but are no longer needed.
